Cookie Policy and Settings

Detailed information about which cookies this website uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage, disable, or withdraw your consent.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This policy describes the use of cookies and other similar data storage technologies (such as the browser's local storage, or localStorage) on our website. At Oficina Sanitas Majadahonda, as an exclusive Sanitas insurance agent, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and customers. Below, we detail which tracking technologies we use, what data we collect, and how you can configure your browser or withdraw your consent at any time. For more information about who we are and how we protect your data, you can consult our Legal Notice and our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto your computer, smartphone, tablet, or similar device when you access certain web pages. Among other things, cookies allow browsing habit information about a user or their device to be stored and retrieved and, depending on the information they contain and how the device is used, they can be used to anonymously recognize the user.

In addition to traditional cookies, this website may make use of local storage technologies in the user's browser (such as localStorage or sessionStorage). These tools serve a function similar to cookies (storing configuration data on the client side) but offer greater storage capacity and security, with the advantage that the stored information is not automatically transmitted to the server with every HTTP request, which substantially improves the speed and overall performance of the web page.

A. According to the entity that manages them:

  • First-party cookies: These are sent to the user's device from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself (in this case, our own server) and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user's device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another associated entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies (for example, Google).

B. According to the length of time they remain active:

  • Session cookies: Designed to collect and store browsing data only while the user accesses and browses the website. They are automatically deleted when the session ends or the browser is closed.
  • Persistent cookies: These are cookies in which the data remains stored on the user's device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

C. According to their purpose:

  • Technical or functional: Ensure that the website functions correctly and allow the user to browse and use its various options or services (for example, identifying the session or remembering consent decisions). They are strictly necessary and do not require user consent.
  • Personalization or preference cookies: Allow information to be remembered so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience (for example, the browsing language or the appearance of the map).
  • Statistical or analytics (measurement) cookies: Allow us to anonymously quantify and analyze the number of visitors and their behavior on the website in order to introduce improvements based on the actual use that users make of the services.
  • Marketing or behavioral advertising cookies: Store information about user behavior obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, making it possible to develop a specific profile to display targeted advertising.

3. Cookies used on this website

Below is a detailed inventory of the cookies and local storage elements installed on the user's browser when browsing our website:

In addition to the cookies above, we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page views and performance in aggregate form. These tools do not set cookies or use local storage: they do not identify an individual user across visits. Like Google Analytics, they are only activated if you accept all cookies in the banner.

4. Consent and settings on this site

The first time you visit our website, you are shown an informational cookie notice or banner with a clear explanation of how cookies work and what they are used for.

To guarantee the utmost respect for your privacy, this website uses Google Analytics to anonymously analyze user visits and interactions, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (cookie-free performance measurement), and the Google Maps cookie to load the interactive map in the contact section. Cookies from these services are only installed if you give your explicit consent by clicking "Accept all" in the banner (loading the map additionally requires your explicit click). If you select "Essential only" or do not respond to the banner, no analytics or advertising cookie is installed.

This site uses Google's Consent Mode (Consent Mode v2). If you reject or do not respond to the banner, Google's tag operates in restricted mode: it does not set cookies, does not identify you, and does not build profiles, and it only sends anonymous, aggregated signals (with no advertising identifiers, with data redaction enabled) that Google uses to statistically estimate the effectiveness of our advertising. You can find out more in the official Google documentation on Consent Mode.

The website's fonts are served locally from our own server, thereby avoiding any direct connection to Google Fonts and preventing your IP address from being tracked.

Manage my consent

You can check your current choice and change it or withdraw your consent at any time from this very panel, with immediate effect and without needing to reload the page:

Your current choice:

You haven't made a choice yet (treated as essential only)

Withdrawing your consent immediately stops the use of analytics and advertising cookies. Cookies already set by Google (e.g. _ga) can be deleted from your browser settings (see the following section).

5. International data transfers

Accepting third-party cookies (such as those from Google Analytics and Google Maps) involves the processing of your data by these associated entities, which are located in the United States (Google LLC).

However, Google LLC is duly adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, approved by the European Commission. This ensures that the international transfer of personal data is carried out under security and protection conditions equivalent to the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.

6. Disabling and deleting cookies via your browser

You can allow, block, or delete the cookies installed on your device at any time by configuring the settings of the browser you use on your device. If you decide to disable them, some website features (such as loading the office map) may no longer work optimally.

Below are links to the official instructions for the main browsers to manage or delete cookies:

To disable Google Analytics tracking specifically on all the websites you visit, you can use Google's official browser opt-out add-on for Google Analytics: tools.google.com/gaoptout.
