Waiting periods and enrolment age
Surgical procedures in groups 0 to II (OMC): 3 months. Complex diagnostic tests and psychology: 6 months. Childbirth or caesarean section: 8 months. Complex therapeutic methods, tubal ligation/vasectomy, hospitalization and procedures in groups III to VIII (OMC): 10 months.
Age: From 0 to 75 years old. No maximum age to remain on the policy. Available to the self-employed worker, their spouse and children up to age 26.
Specific terms for self-employed workers under the direct estimation tax regime (ask at our office about the tax details that apply to your case; not applicable in the Basque Country).
