To come and study in Spain (ages 14-35). Sanitas International Students is a Sanitas policy in the Students range, without copayments. For international students aged 14 to 35 coming to study in Spain at a university, business school or language school: full cover with no copays and no waiting periods, valid for the student visa (Type D) and for renewing your TIE. (Not to be confused with Sanitas Estudiantes, which is for going to study outside Spain.)

Terms of enrolment

Waiting periods and enrolment age
No waiting periods: everything covered from day one.
Age: From 14 to 35 years old. Turning 36 keeps you covered until the end of that month.
Duration from 3 months to 1 year, matched to your course dates. It is extended as long as you keep studying and prove it each academic year. If you need more than 12 months, we extend it for you.
Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual payment, never longer than your course. If your consulate asks for the insurance to be paid, you can pay for the whole stay in advance.
You take it out with your passport and enrollment, also remotely from your home country. One insured person per policy, and your parents can be the policyholder.
It does not cover childbirth or care for the newborn. If you want a possible pregnancy covered while you study in Spain, the alternative is Residents Visado, which is also valid for the student visa.
Under 14 or over 35 the policy for the visa is Residents Visado.
Pre-existing conditions not declared on the health questionnaire are not covered.
