For foreigners who live in Spain and want complete insurance with care in their own language. It's the most affordable option in the range: it carries waiting periods and can be paid monthly, quarterly or annually. If you need it for a visa or an immigration procedure, this version may be valid in some cases, but as a rule they ask for Residents Visado: no waiting periods and with the certificate that Immigration requires, paid semiannually or annually and somewhat more expensive (the calculator gives you the exact price).

Waiting periods and enrolment age
Sanitas Residents has the general waiting periods, whatever the payment method: minor surgery (OMC groups 0 to II) 3 months, complex diagnostic tests and psychology 6 months, childbirth or caesarean section 8 months, and hospitalization, surgery in groups III to VIII, vasectomy/tubal ligation and complex therapeutic methods 10 months. The Residents Visado version, the one usually requested for the visa, has no waiting periods.
Age: From 0 to 75 years old. No maximum age to remain on the policy.
Monthly, quarterly or annual payment; paying for the whole year at once costs less. The Residents Visado version, with no waiting periods, is the one Immigration and consulates usually ask for: it is paid semiannually or annually, without that annual-payment discount, and is somewhat more expensive (the calculator gives you the exact price). For visa approval the premium must also be paid in advance: that's why we always recommend annual payment for these procedures.
You must live in Spain at least 6 months a year.
For the visa, you can take it out up to 6 months in advance.
Sanitas discounts: lifelong 10% on policies with 4 or more insured (already included in the price); 4% for annual payment, except on the Visa version.
