Terms of enrolment
Copays, waiting periods and ages exactly as they appear on the official product sheet.
Waiting periods and enrolment age
Surgical procedures in groups 0 to II (OMC): 3 months. Complex diagnostic tests: 6 months. Childbirth or caesarean section: 8 months. Complex therapeutic methods, tubal ligation/vasectomy, hospitalization and procedures in groups III to VIII (OMC): 10 months. With a certificate from another insurer, waiting periods are usually waived.
Age: From 0 to 75 years old. No maximum age to remain on the policy.
Access to Sanitas' own hospitals: La Moraleja, La Zarzuela, Virgen del Mar and Blua Valdebebas in Madrid, and CIMA in Barcelona.
